Shadreck Mayembe raced into the box and placed low shot past Mufulira Wanderers Goalkeeper Robert Mwanza to equalise for Lusaka Dynamos and bring the score to 1-1.
When Shadreck scored the equaliser it became the 6th time this season that Wanderers have failed to hold onto the lead in a match and gone on to either lose or draw.
No team has failed to hold onto a lead more times than Mighty this season.
The match ended 1-1 and one could see the gloom that was cast at Shinde Stadium as the team now rests in the relegation zone on 27 points and just a point from safety.
That the draw came against fellow relegation side Lusaka Dynamos shows things are not looking good for the miners.
Some aspects which may also be affecting the teams performace are……
POOR TRANSFERS THIS SEASON
Mighty have not had the best of transfers. before the beginning of the season Mighty lost winger Lameck Silwaba to Nakambala Leopards, Moses Nyambe to Lumwana Radiants and attacking midfielder Jacob Ngulube to Nkana FC.
Jacob Ngulube was the biggest loss and despite Mighty wanting to keep him the allure of joining Nkana FC was too much.
Mighty failed to bring in any notable players to replace those who left with the little known Ghanaian striker Raheem Osman arriving and has since contributed 4 goals.
POOR PITCH
The Shinde Stadium pitch has also got a big role to play in Mightys negative performance.
Every team relies on home ground advantage to help boots thier chances of a win but when you have turf like the Shinde stadium pitch it actually becomes a disadvantage.
Shinde Stadium has had the Lowest Record in terms of goals this season than any other Stadium this Season.
No match since Mighty started playing in the Super league has had more than 2 goals scored by one side at Shinde Stadium. Simply put no club has managed to score 3 goals or more at Shinde Stadium since 2015.
The last 7 matches at Shinde have seen just 6 goals scored.
The Shinde stadium pitch is just so bad and players concentrate more on bringing the ball under control than anything else and this makes scoring difficult.
CHANGING OF COACHES
Mighty have had three coaches this season in Manfred Chabinga, Portuguese Paulo Silva and now in charge Egyptian Ahmed Soliman with all having preety much the same results.
Mighty havent won a match in 8 games now and Soliman will need to find some quick solutions.
